FAQs

Why should I go to therapy?

Life is complicated to say the least. No one has all the answers. What works for one person doesn’t work for another. Relatives and friends love us and want what’s “best” for us but who’s best? Theirs or ours? A therapist is a third party who will assist you as you identify what is best for you and your situation without ever giving advice or passing judgement on what you determine for your life and situation.

Why does therapy/group cost so much?

Most services are covered by insurances. We accept most insurances and work on accepting new insurances all the time. We also accept payment arrangements and never want payment to interfere with services if it can be avoided. Please have a conversation with your therapist or reception if a need arises.

What if I don’t connect with my therapist?

It’s important to connect with your therapist, you’ll be telling them a lot of intimate information, if for some reason you don’t feel connected or something changes in session, please address this in session with your clinician. It is not a popularity contest and we want you to get the help and services needed, even if its with another servicer. Never be afraid to advocate for what you need. Contact reception and we can schedule you with another clinician in our office or with another provider.
